Mike Brey said changes were coming to the starting lineup Monday and those changes were Jonathan Peoples and Luke Zeller starting in place of Ryan Ayers and Zach Hillesland. Peoples is making his first career start while Zeller is making his third.
I had hoped that Brey would give seldom used sophomore Tyrone Nash a chance because of the athleticism he brings to the floor, but it appears as though the sophomore power forward will have to wait to get his chance in the starting lineup.
Zeller started off the first minute by collecting a rebound and hitting a decent length jumper so it looks like so far so good. We’ll see how this plays out over the course of the game though.
