Pitt solidifies itself as the #2 team in the UHND Opponent Poll this week after demolishing South Florida at home.
2009 UHND Opponent Poll |
||||||
Opponent | Record | Previous | Next | Comments
1. | #4 Southern Cal Trojans |
6-1 | 1 | @ Oregon | USC looked sloppy in their 42-36 win over Oregon State. USC has given up 63 points in their last two games. Look for Oregon to knock USC out of the title hunt this weekend.
2. | #15 Pitt Panthers |
7-1 | 4 | vs. UConn | Pitt was downright dominate in their 41-14 win over South Florida. Pitt has a bye before a tune up against Syracuse. The Panthers will be 8-1 when they host Notre Dame in two weeks.
3. | Stanford Cardinal |
5-3 | 3 | vs. #10 Oregon (11/07) | Stanford blew out Arizona State 33-14 to snap a two game losing streak. The Cardinal is looking tougher than they were a few weeks ago.
4. | Michigan State Spartans |
4-4 | 7 | @ Minnesota | After turning their season around Michigan State nearly knocked off undefeated Iowa but gave up the game winning touchdown as time expired. MSU should be 7-4 heading into their finale against Penn State.
5. | Boston College Eagles |
5-3 | 5 | vs. Central Michigan | Boston College nearly pulled off another victory in South Bend, but turned the ball over five times including an interception on their final drive.
6. | Michigan Wolverines |
5-3 | 2 | @ Illinois | Michigan got blown out of the water by Penn State in the Big House this weekend to the tune of 35-10. The Wolverines should get back on track with a road game against a truly awful Illinois team.
7. | Navy Midshipmen |
6-2 | 8 | vs. Temple | Navy had a really nice win over Wake Forest this past weekend and has won five in a row. They’ll likely make that six in a row this weekend when they host Temple.
8. | UConn Huskies |
4-3 | 9 | vs. Rutgers | UConn lost a heartbreaker after a very emotional week. UConn has a pretty rough remaining schedule with road trips to Cinci and Notre Dame along with home games against Rutgers and South Florida.
8. | Washington Huskies |
3-5 | 6 | @ UCLA | Washington’s lack of talent is finally catching up with them after getting blown out by Oregon 43-19. Washington has a tough remaining schedule with road trips to UCLA and Oregon State mixed in with home games against Washington State and Cal.
10. | Purdue Boilermakers |
3-5 | 10 | @ Wisconsin | Purdue won their second in a row this past weekend, but will have a tough time making it three in a row in Madison this weekend.
11. | Nevada Wolf Pack |
4-3 | 11 | vs. Hawaii | Nevada’s offense turned in another video game-esque offensive performance in their 70-45 win over Idaho. How did the Irish defense shut out this offense again???
12. | Washington State Cougars |
1-6 | 12 | @ #23 Notre Dame | Washington State should be just what the doctor ordered for a Notre Dame fan base that is exhausted from last minute finishes… should be. |

Hi everyone

Once you understand how the internal mechanism of the slot works, it’s time to answer the question: “how to win?” Since each round of the game is completely dependent on the random number generator and is unpredictable, it is important to understand which strategy can be most effective and start testing it, preferably in demo mode, so as not to risk real funds. Despite the fact that the mathematical expectation remains negative in general, the chances of winning still exist for each player.
If you want to find out how to win in this wonderful slot, then one of the real solutions may be to set the bet until your balance doubles. It is important not to continue playing if you are unlucky and the money starts to run out.

Elon Musk was star guest this year at an annual conference organized by Italian PM Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party.
kraken5af44k24fwzohe6fvqfgxfsee4lgydb3ayzkfhlzqhuwlo33ad.onion
He arrived against the backdrop of an ice-skating rink and an ancient castle in Rome with one of his 11 children to tout the value of procreation.
Italy has one of the lowest birth rates in the world, and Musk urged the crowd to “make more Italians to save Italy’s culture,” a particular focus of the Meloni government.
https://kraken2trfqodidvlh4aa337cpzfrhdlfldhve5nf7n7instad.com
2krn.at
Meloni has been a strong opponent of surrogacy, which is criminalized in Italy, but there was no mention of Musk’s own recent children born of surrogacy.
The owner of X (formerly called Twitter) was slightly rumpled with what could easily be argued the least stylish shoes in the mostly Italian crowd since Donald Trump’s often unkempt former top adviser Steve Bannon appeared at the conference in 2018.
Meloni sat in the front row taking photos of Musk, who she personally invited. Meloni founded the Atreju conference in 1998, named after a character in the 1984 film “The NeverEnding Story.”

Sorry, I meant to write “bet”, not “be”…
C’mon JDH, I’ll grant Harrison ain’t cuttin it…but, you really think we are gonna have coverage issues against Navy? Didn’t they just play a game a couple weeks ago where they threw the ball once all game?
Not even once.
Their starting QB “Dobbs” has been injured the last few weeks. (ankle) In
loseing to Temple he came in late and was 0 for 3 passing and rushed just 3 times for 5 yards. He has to 100% for Navy to have any chance.
ND did a great job agianst their option last year and we won with a one dimentional offence.
That’s what I’m screamin…we just need to play disciplined defense where we play space not the ball and we should be able to sell out against the run.
On O….no way they hold us under 40.
That is unless we hold back for Pitt…which is highly likely
I think actually Navy did attempt 2 passes. They were 0/2 in terrible weather. They’ll pass more against us because they know where our Achilles heel is. But again, at the end of the day, it won’t matter and won’t be nearly enough.
Maybe not Delta and I hope not. But we all know Navy comes to play and they leave everything on the field. I’m just going by what history has taught me. Sooooo many times I have thought, “We shouldn’t have trouble covering ______ receivers this week.” And then I watch that opponent pass all over our secondary that plays 10 yards off the receivers.
Don’t get me wrong, we win the game big.
I hope the team put in some extra time working on the “on sides kick” this week.
With the offence clicking, the defence making progress(slow as it is)
Special teams play could be a difference maker over these last 4 games. Almost cost us here last year.
Shazam,
Understand really what I’m saying though. I don’t care if somebody hates ND. Fine with me and to me it’s not the point here. But when you spend so much time and effort, doing whatever it is the AE is doing, that is another story entirely. I am not saying this to be funny, I am being serious. It shows plainly a clear lack of intelligence and critical thinking skills to engage in his kind of behavior. I mean that in a “clinical” sense if you will, not smack talking here. That’s what I was trying to demonstrate in my last post. His “logic” and argument is circular and will never end.
People like AE interest me, because they are somehow unable to ask themselves this cricical question: “What is it that I hope to gain by doing this?” Obviously he is not going to change our opinions, nor are we going to change his. It will simply never happen. So the reasonable, intelligent person simply agrees to disagree. The idiot however cannot stop. The same questions are asked, regardless of answers given. The same insults hurled, regardless of the fact that, in the end, it accomplishes nothing.
At first, I didn’t care much because I really did assume it was a 20 yr. old kid who had a couple beers and just got kicks showing his buddies how he is able to “rile up ND fans” via the internet. But now we can see plainly that that’s not the case.
It’s a compulsion and a neurosis. Again, I’m not trying to be funny. It’s kind of sad.
It’s very sad.
And I do understand your thoughts brother.
I’ve bashed him everyway possiable and I feel none the better for it. A reasonable person soon realizes that bowing to his level is what brings him comfort and yourself discomfort. If his goal is for me to wave a white flag then that’s fine.
He can win his little sick game. I don’t come here to trade barbs with a half wit. True ND fans are the best in the world. To learn, laugh, and share our views is what makes us the best and why I come here.
You will never see a post or reply from me here on a Saturday or Sunday.
That’s because that time is devoted to my family. I love everything about ND. But it is just one piece of who I am.
When a person makes their college team the most important thing in their lives then there is something seriously wrong. And sad.
I’m with you guys…and I’ll stop responding as well.
But can we get back to football…this Dr. Phil stuff is bringing me down.
So, we get to sell out against the run this week, right? Shouldn’t be blowing a gasket over blown coverage, right? For the love of God, somebody reassure me.
Oh I’ll be there will still be quite a few gaskets blown over bad / non-existent coverage. Harrison Smith will start and he will get smoked. I’ll guarantee you that.
But other than that, with Floyd back and our offense firing on all cylinders, I don’t think this will be a good game.
ND 35
Navy 17
Me too. You hate to do it, but in real life you can walk away or close the door. Unless Frank barrs him, he can continue to intrude on our conversations. Otherwise, I’d have left him along after the first insane rant.
But hey, we all know ND is a better institution and we can move on to the rest of the season. I wanted the Phils to beat the Yankees last night, because I dislike the Yankees. Instead of going to a Yankees blog site to insult people, I just turned the TV off in the 5th inning. Time to move on to something positive.
My posts are getting filtered by Big Brother who wants to keep you sycophants sipping the green Kool-Aid, so I’ll leave you and your harmelss lil football team alone for now, I’ll check in with you next year when BC takes ND to the woodshed at the Heights in the finale to this one-sided series.
If by “one-sided” you mean, 10 wins by ND and 9 wins by BC, then yes indeed, it has been “one-sided”.
Math seems to elude you as well my friend.
$50 bucks says cousin eddie and the tin plate in his head will be back here within 24 hrs.
BC will lose on the road to Virginia and that terriable anger will well up deep inside of him. The non stop barking dog inside his head will drive him to come here.
You will see.
I’ve gone to just useing “AE” when refering to him. If you type his name 3 times or more he pops up like beetlejuice.
Strange thing is, ever since he showed up we have been on a winning streak. I don’t know if 2 games counts as a winning streak, but he was here this week and if we beat Navy that will be 3 in a row. That is a winning streak.
Shazam,
I was sort of thinking the same thing. Amazing how much time and effort he puts into hating ND. I couldn’t name 5 BC players total if I tried. Flutie, Ryan, Herzlich (only because of ESPNs story on him and Weis’s very classy friendship with him etc.)…..insert crickets chirping. Again, I couldn’t care less if he hates ND, but I’ve never seen anyone quite like AE. He’s a case study for sure of severe envy, rage and a host of other things. In case anyone hasn’t figured this out, he says the same things over and over again, asks the same questions over and over. When someone refutes/answers those questions, he ignores the answers and reverts back to the same rants and questions. It’s a circle jerk with no end in sight.
I know Boston fans are stereotyped as being alcoholic uber-a##holes, but this one is ridiculous. The horse is dead AE. It’s room temp, cut to pieces, buried, with grass growing over the grave. Please move on.
I know, I know. I haven’t answered your questions yet right?
JDH,
Envy is a vey good word in discribing him. Sounds like he is mostly mad because ND has it’s own TV network, gets favortism from the bowls, and has a world wide fan base.
But that’s what happends when your University does things the right way. One that is based on years of integrity, fair play, respect and common decency. He also fails to understand that an approch like that comes with sacrifice. I’m sure we have lost games and even national titles because we refuse to compromise our principals.
Who wants a small potatoes school like BC, that never did anything exceptional during their entire exsistance, and who’s fan base is only known for thier foul drunken behavior. Fair or unfair, that just doesn’t sell. It’s ugily and unproductive, and people like the Eagle are their own worst enemy because they continue to perpetuate the poor image and exasperate the problem.
I know we want to ignore Anus Eagle…but I’m a sucker for low hanging fruit.
Ok, Anus Eagle, where you want to start? Charlie’s first year? How bout McCarthy? The guy that intercepted your pitiful excuse for a QB. Kinda like he’s done in several games this year.
Or maybe with Clausen and Tate? Both touted Heisman contenders. How many players BC got on the watchlist?
Maybe Rudolf? You know, the next great ND TE to follow Carlson and FasanoM
Or Floyd? Nah, you don’t wanna debate Floyd. Not the guy that still may win the Biletnikoff even after missing several games.
Allen? You know, the guy that ran all over BC.
Young and Olsen? Sure fire NFLers.
Certainly not Manchild Teo? Even you have to realize that a couple years experience will have him picking his teeth with you QB’s legs.
But hey…you guys have Matt Ryan. Helluva game he had monday nite. 3 interceptions. That’s the ole BC college try.
One more thing…has anyone seen Allen and Darius Walker in the same room? I know Walker isn’t playing in the NFL anymore because he can’t play in the NFL on account of his inability to play in the NFL. So I thought maybe he re-enrolled at ND under a different name to pretend he is anything but the average back that he is.
for what it’s worth. notre dame currently has 31 players on nfl rosters as compared to 21 boston college players. put brady in atlanta with those players and it would be close to be fair. why bring up darius walker? everyone was stunned that he left because we all knew he couldn’t make it. teo started against michigan, second game of the season. he had 9 tackles against bc and i think luke had 9 as well.
nep’r,
I find it amazing on how much AE knows about ND football and our present and former players.
Talk about a “ND-WANNABE”!
We just played BC a couple weeks ago and the only player that I can remember was that crappy 25 year old QB, Shitskey, who threw the perfect pick to seal the win.
Now now, Anus Eagle…put down the pipe and try to stay focused.
You asked about Charlie’s recruits….you get blasted then you bring up Walker (a darn good running back in college in his on right). Unfortunately, Walker was a Willingham recruit. Apples to Oranges…Fire to Ice…BC “women” to actual women.
Uuuuuuh…no one wants to answer my question about the whereabouts of all your heralded recruits? Bueller?
not sure what you are asking? our top ten recruiting classes the past couple of years were mainly geared towards the offense. they are all there contributing to the 11th best total offense in all of ncaa averaging 457.6 ypg.
jimmy clausen???? 164.2 rating 2318 yards 18 tds 2 int
golden tate???? 56 rec 927 yards 11 total tds
michael floyd???? 13 rec 358 yards 5 tds he could still get 1000 yards receiving with the bowl game. he was on track for 72 rec and 1900 yards and 26 tds
no need for an “apb”. espn, heisman, belitnikof(sp?), o’brian, and nbc know where they are and have them covered.
Knock on wood.
Robinson will be out. Hopefully he will be ready for PITT. I was disapointed with the way Wenger played in his place. His first few plays he just ran around without blocking anyone. He did seemed to get better as the game wore on. He had better dial it up from the start. Navy’s defense is pretty good.
Man we are unlucky with injuries this year. Drive on Crist, drive on brother…
Crist torn ACL, out for season F*%#!!!
Tough news. Great kid and a good teammate. I’m glad he got a TD pass in bfore the injury. Best of luck to him.
CW getting Evan Sharpley to come back for a 5th year is starting to look pretty smart.
Any news on Trevor Robinson?
Hey, I really would like to hear comments about whether anyone thinks, there’s finally a pattern to beat USC.
Also, Frank, got anything to post about Navy, why we can’t overlook them, but how that could affect the defense going into Pitt?
I predicted that Oregon would beat USC. I also predicted that Stanford would do the same. That has yet to be seen, but both schools are very physical. Especially when running the ball. Both schools have enough passing to keep USC honest or take advantage of overloading the line. And Oregon kept the peddle down (kept passing) late into the fourth quarter when most teams might try running out the clock. When you score 47 agianst USC, yor certainly did something right.
So, I a gree with you on the pattern to beat Southern Cal (now that the school has instructed people that we should not refer to it as Southern Cal, I have decided to ALWAYS refer to them as Southern Cal).
The trouble is this: different teams have different athletes. That is, Southern Cal’s defense, this year, is weaker than in other years. Likewise, Oregon has a real back. I am not sure whether Hughes or Allen could have done to Southern Cal what Oregon’s backs did to Southern Cal.
And, that doesn’t mean that next year, when Washington beats Southern Cal again, that it will be because of the running backs.
I think that this SC defense is not disciplined. They do not stay in their gaps and everyone is trying to make the great play. They seem to play like a selfish team. Oregon beat them because SC did not play disciplined defense. I think we saw the same thing the in the 4th quarter with penalties the received. I see that Pete Carrol’s team is undisciplined and the talent alone can’t beat some teams. This is the problem he had in the NFL and will catch up to him now.
Dosen’t he to some degree teach them do do the things that drew those penalties. See how much dirty play you can get away with untl you are called. He teaches them to intimidate. Sometimes they get away with it, sometimes they don’t.
Great replies guys.
Teo, My only retort to yout second paragraph is this:
Oregon beat USC a few years ago. Oregon St. beat them twice and then almost did it again this year. Washington beat them this year. Texas beat them in 05. The one common pattern across those different defenses was a running game that setup the pass. The NFL and within the last 10 years, colleges, have reverted to passing to setup the run. Carroll’s defenses took advantage of that if you had a drop back passer. They anticipated the play and the snap and jumped on you on first down, taking away routes and coming with a wicked pass rush. But show up with an old school running game to include maybe 30% passing, and you’ve taken away his advantage. If you can hit his line and wear them down, they get out of that aggressive rythm. Cut back runs stop the over pursuit. A power back and a slasher with the right play mix keep him off balance. Add a mobile quarterback who can accurately pass and you’ve got him. Dennis Dixon, Vince Young, Jake Locker, ??? Masoli, and even the Oregon St. QBs, totally perplex Carrol and his defense. He had no answer against Oregon. 2nd half defense adjustments to put the rout on and show poor sportsmanship in the 4th quarter are his specialty. Only, the run offenses I mentioned don’t allow that. Pete Carroll can’t be Pete Carroll.
I’d feel real good about ND’s chances next year against USC if Weis saw some of that. Maybe Goodman should have started against SC, even though clearly Jimmy’s the “Guy” any other game.
Man, this eagle freak is really starting to creep me out. He takes the worst beating and embarressment and keeps coming back for more. Seems like he watches and follows ND more than his own team.
Ever see one of those FBI profile shows?
The psycho almost always is some middle-aged, 40 something of a loaner and a loser with deep resentment and anger management problems, living in some run down trailer in his twisted make believe world, where his neighbors state how he keep to him self.
I lived in Denver Colorado for a couple of years which happened to be when the Columbine wacko’s went on their rampage. Then just a year or so ago Virgina Tect had their nut job who went off on campus. I pray to God that the eagle doesn’t show up on our door step with a firearm or some other distructive device ranting incoherently about a football game that took place weeks ago. I for one am done with this obsessed freak. We have
Navy coming up. A game with great history and tradition where fair play and mutual respect rules the day. Much more deserving of our time.
I will “peace out” now at the behest of Jack and others, but I will check back to see if anyone has the balls and the candor to address my straightforward query about the whereabouts of all these so-called Top 10 recruiting class recruits. Maybe we should put out an APB for them in and about the Notre Dame campus.
Sorry, I upset you Jack, sounds like I hit a nerve with my comments, sounds like you are one of the few who understand the real deal at ND, one of the few who see through all the commercials. Congratulations. As we say at Harvard, “Veritas.”
Please ignore this guys posts! acknowledgment will only bring him back for more.
i come to this website for information and meaningful analysis. the personal attacks are a waste of everyone’s time.
Shaddap Ted.
Ted, you are 100% correct. My appologies to you for lowering my standards and detracting from what this blog is really about.
-SHAZAMROCK-
Ted,
I let my temper get the best of me. You are correct, I was just sick of talking about BC and want to move on to analysis of the team.
You route for BC need I say more. BC is a pimple on the dog’s a** of college football. The only reason they did College Game day from your campus was because a player had cancer. You are a 42 yr old looooser. You and your team suck. Your academic standards compared to ND are crap. Your not even the best University in the city. What happened to your starting QB this year, that’s right he failed out. Way to support your players academically. Get off this bored a**hat. No one likes you or really wants to listen to you. As far as players are concerned Ryan had one good year and has had trouble the in the past couple of games and what a great playoff game he had. Your team is irrelevant in college football. No one cares about BC and no one ever will. You had one Heisman player who was one hell of a Canadian football player and a great back up in the pros. Shut up and get off the board. We beat you and will talk with you next year when we play BC again. Go write your blogg you computer geek. I am suprised you don’t still live in mommy’s basement. I bet you never even played football and if you did you were probably the bench warmer. This is the first and only post I will make concerning your bloggs. Piss off jerk off.
I just got out of work, took off my tool belt after a long day of manual labor with by dopey BC degree, and got back online (dial-up of course), and lo and behold you guys are still taking pot shots at me. WTF? I’m just a truthsayer, your harmless little football team just isn’t that good. How many times do I have to say it? When I see ND play BC, it looks like intrasquad scrimmage, the players are the same caliber, have similar names, etc. It’s just that the BC guys seem to me to be a little better, and play with less pressure. They don;t have all these insufferable fans riding their backs. Who on the ND squad is any good? I’ll give you Tate, he’s a nice player, but a lot of middle of the pack programs have guys like that, Michael Crabtree from Texas Tech and Brandon Tate from UNC last year come to mind. Whoop-de-damn doo. There are guys like that on BC every year too, like Kiwanuka, Matt Ryan, BJ Raji, Mark Herzlich, etc. I have a query for you…if CW’s recruiting classes over the past 4 years were really as stellar as all you myopic homers think they were, where are the players? Show it to me on the filed. I just see a bunch of so so D1 players, Tate being the exception, Michael Floyd (if he grows some balls and learns how to stay injury free), maybe another. Clausen? He is just a decent D1 QB playing with the poise that comes with tons of reps under his belt, just about every QB in D1 with a modicum of talent plays like that when they spent two plus years throwing interceptions all over the place. In other words, the light bulb goes off at some point. Big deal. Heisman my ass. He’s not even as good as Brady Quinn (Willingham recruit), who can;t even start for the lowly Browns. Puhlease.
So again, my question…where are all your players? I know there are some of you Domers out there secretly asking yourselves the same question. Here’s my answer: the recrutiing cllasses are as overrated as your harmless lil old football team. But hey, it’s almost time for girls hoop, that’s where the ND sports power is. Nowhere else.
What a waste of a degree. I applaud folks who work with tools. They are very valuable and wonderful people. Most would like to have gone to college. But to go to a University and waste a college education is a back sliding of talent. Eagle, your arguements are all over the map. You really haven’t said much. The term harmless little football team doesn’t describe Notre Dame’s team by any stretch. I wonder, what do you know about Notre Dame the school. 7500 undergrads who are near the top of their highschool classes in rank. BC hosts 14000 who come from the middle ranks of their highschool class. Not an issue until you come into this blog site to attack us because you are jealous of our achievements.
Realize this. BC’s best is ND’s worst. Also, you have repeatedly failed to acknowledge ND’s other great programs. You take a shot at us regarding girls hoops. At least our girls are articulate. Also, you fail to recognize a solid mens hoosp program, a great hockey program, fencing, tennis, men’s and womens soccer, track, lacrosse, and baseball. Know who got the last out in the 2008 World Series for the Phillies? An ND baseball alum.
So now that your toolbelt is off and you realize the pain of your wasted existence. Go suck down a few Papst Blue Ribbons, and a bottle of Mad Dog and forget the hurt in your life. We’ll just keep achieving.
Good Doggie
Anus Eagle, why are we “blowhards,” because we root for our team to win just like the fans of any other school (okay, maybe as a BC fan it’s hard for you to believe that any school can engender such loyalty and passion). Yes, college football has changed, but one thing is constant: Notre Dame is relevant and will always be relevant regardless of our record, and guess what, ND is coming back to prominence. Anyone not blinded by pathetic hatred can see the talent that ND has now and will continue to have from now on. Your desperate attempts to annoy people on this board are the last gasps of someone who knows what the score is and will be from now on. Whatever bowl is lucky enough to have ND participate, rest assured that it will be well deserved. So continue to spew your nonsense, thereby further exposing yourself as a fraud.
“thereby further exposing yourself as a fraud.”
Back away Joe…Back away slowly…never ever put the thought of exposing one’s self into the mind of one such as Anus Eagle. That guy’s one more BC loss from being a a streaker with “I hate Notre Dame” written on his junk. You know, probably the same technique they use to write “Merry Christmas” on a grain of rice….
“You’re right, I gotta get back to work.”- Anus Eagle…
That’s the funniest BS this loser has spouted yet. Like he’s got a job…hahahahaha
People,
Just ignore this loser, “Anus Eagle.” That’s what everybody else (including his own family) seems to do based on his sad blog. Even BC fans ignore this dweeb! BTW, “Anus Eagle”: Most true ND football fans don’t need you to tell us our program has been pretty sad for a while now. Unlike you, we’re not sad and delusional.
You’re right, I gotta get back to work. I think I have made my points here, even though they seem to be falling on deaf ears. But it is my life’s mission to try to convince as many of you delusional fans that your program just kind of sucks right now, that it has kind of sucked for 15 years or so, and that it will continue kind of sucking from here on out, as the college football world has changed foreover. It’s my mission because I hope that some day – and that day may never come – we will have a college football world where there are no ND blowhards, no unworthy ND teams bumping more deserving teams out of a bowls, and no more networks putting crappy football products on TV every week just to sell commercials. Until that day, “the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream will never die.”
You’re mission is to be a jackwad.
Congradulations!
Mission accomplished!
“But it is my life’s mission….”
Then my points have just been proven, by your own admission.
Again, think about gaining some perspective on life, redirecting your energies and looking long into the mirror.
If you are young, like I said before, you will probably look back and think “That was just silly. I was acting like a loser back then. I can’t believe I was acting like that.” If you are older, well, then you have just plain already lost.
JDH,
Apparently this guy is 42! I’m in my 40s too. And I know some say the 40s are the new 20s, but “Anus” isn’t young! He’s just a middle-age loser with apparently nothing better to do (not even care for his family) than go on an ND site. But like I said, I think we should just ignore this poor excuse for a human being.
I know we should ignore him- you are absolutely right about that. I’m just so amazed by him. We’ve all seen alot of internet bravado, hit and run type nonsense. But he’s the gift that just keeps on giving. I haven’t really seen anything quite like AE before. It’s pretty interesting actually.
I can’t really imagine hating any institution or football team as much as he does- it’s really quite odd and certainly neurotic.
Some people just cannot see who they really are and why they need to change their behaviors.
Maybe it’s the old “Love-hate, hate-love syndrome.
22,23 years ago he wanted to attend the University of Notre Dame. Play football perhaps. Run out of the tunnel in Rudy like fashion.
He was five foot nuthin, 100 and nuthin, who’s GPA was far below acceptable levels. So ND admissions say’s sorry charlie, you just don’t have what it takes to be a ND student. So he takes what he thinks is the next best thing.
“BC”. Not surprisingly, his life went down the shitter there after and he has blamed ND ever since. I guess Admissions made the right call on that one.
Mission,
Sounds more like an obsession with not being able to be a Notre Dame fan. I watched the Incredibles with my kids a while back. AE, you are that little pain in the butt that becomes obsessed with destroying the Incredibles because you can neer be one.
Notre Dame is and always will be relevant. It still is the best program histroically in college footbal. BC is a wannabe program and fans like you will always keep it down. Remember whatever else, you, Angry Eagle, are a loser. Your whole life is being wasted. Your presence on this blog proves you have nothing positive to add to the world. Forget about all other BC fans, you Angry Eagle are a loser. You can wake up each morning with the sad reminder that you are a loser. Your presentation of so called facts is totally flawed. Mission, it is you that are delusional. But your delusion is that you bring bogus arguments into a blog site that you have no business being in. Have you noticed that this blog is not peppered with more than a few losers from other teams fan bases? If you weren’t a loser, you’d be active on a BC board and would leave us alone. If we truly were pathetic, you wouldn’t feel the need to interact with us. But you must have some personal problem that causes you to obsess about The University of the Mother of God. Were you laughed at by the prom queen in highschool too? Did the football team repeatedly give you wedgies?
That’s too bad Angry Eagle. But please take out your sick sorry regrets about your own life on someone in the Boston Area. The BC game was more than a week ago. We’ve won and now we’ve moved on to bigger things. You and BC are little things. Look in the mirror and say, ” I, Angry Eagle am a loser.” You need to say it before you can get better.
Seriously, LMAO.
Good stuff. “I, Angry Eagle, am a loser.”
You’re just mad that I’m pointing out the truth. I’m sorry, I know it’s much more pleasant living in the ND fantasy world.
Ahh, forget about it….there’s simply no reasoning with a moron…Look, let’s just agree to disagree. You say ND doesn’t matter ( a statement you make on an ND fan message board 2 weeks after the Irish beat your supposed “mighty” team) and I say BC is a school where we send our socially disfunctional third cousins that we avoid at family get togethers.
Let’s just let the play on the field and the scoreboard settle the only issue that matters. Oh, wait…it already did.
Question, my delusional friend (and I mean “friend” in the purely platonic sense. Not the way you Eagles mean it in the men’s room.)are you also posting alcohol and viagra induced rants on clemson and VT fan sites. Let it go man. Let it go like your pride, like your self esteem, like your sanity.
Anyone who would spend this much time on another team’s fan blog has some seeeeeeerious envy issues. One doesn’t have to be a psychiatrist to see that clearly.
I think you should spend time focusing your energy in other, more constructive areas. Your hatred for all-things Notre Dame has no effect whatsoever on our success and/or failures.
At the end of the day, it is just you with your very bitter, petty self. I’m assuming and hoping that you are young (say 20s or younger) and have time to change and see this. Because one day you will probably look back, after having gained some perspective on life, and decide you were being quite foolish indeed.
JDH,
I checked his loser blog site last week. He writes these involved, long winded asumptions, that no one reads or replies to. His favorite movie is the Sound of Music. His favorite songs are the fight songs of the ACC. And he puts BC football BEFORE his wife and kids. Sadest of all, he’s 42.
What a season this year, you just beat a crappy Wash State team, thumped Nevada, squeaked by mighty BC at home with 5 turnovers, and went 1-2 against Big Ten teams that are a combined 6-10 in conference play. WOW! You guys are definitely back! Shake down the thunder! Clausen and Tate are Gods! Thank goodness ND is afraid to continue the series against BC, we would get keeeeeled when CW’s 10th straight Top 5 recruiting class finally produces more than a couple of playmakers.
Central Michigan??? Aren’t they a 1AA junior college program? BC is so scary.
How many players quit your team this week?
Your stupidity has no bounds.
When you have dug your self into a crap hole the first rule is to quit digging.
Quit the team because they couldn’t crack the starting lineup, that’s what happens when you have good players. Back in the day, I believe it used to happen to ND before the program turned into something like kindergarten soccer, with everyone getting a “participation trophy.” Is that what they handed out at the Hawaii Bowl last year?
Good players… maybe.
But when you tattoo “BC” across your chest then quit the team. That’s almost as stupid as you!
I disagree with you here. I don’t think that Irish players typically “quit the team,” because they couldn’t crack the starting lineup.
They quit for some other reasons — to focus on academics, for example — but they typically don’t quit.
By the way, our schools are similar in the sense that both ND and BC are serious academic places and both schools graduate their kids. Why are you such a hack? I mean, why are you so willing to denigrate Notre Dame?
It’s a good place for sports and for academics. There aren’t many of those left. It’s not freaking Alabama, where the kids can barely read when they enter college.
BC is a strong academic place, I think, but with degenerates like you out there imitating Ted Kennedy, it has me wondering whether this is still true.
Carefrul there Shazam. CMU is the best team in the MAC, and beat Michigan State at MSU, who gave your fraud team a lot of trouble in South Bend this year if memory serves. BC was putting the wood to them by the score of 31-3 before aallowing a final minute window dressing TD.
Not a signature win for sure, but CMU certainly is a little higher on the food chain than your opponent last week, and your opponent this week for that matter.
Hmmm, “The best team in the MAC” tell us more.
Thank God you drunken reprobates don’t play Navy. Our fighting men of the Navial Academy deserve much better than to be cussed at and spit on over a football game.
Hey man, hate to be the one to tell ya, but your wannabe is showing….
Which Navy will show? Starting QB Ricky Dobbs has been out the last couple of weeks with a bad ankle. His back-up, Kriss Proctor, never even attempted a pass in their win over Wake Forest.(Yes, that’s a true statement, not a single pass attempt in a Division 1A College game)This week they lost to Temple. Proctor went 2-4 for 27 yards and a INT. Dobbs did come in late in the fourth quarter in an attempt to save the game. He was 0 for 3 passing and rushed 3 times for just 5 yards. In the season opener agianst Ohio St. he was 9-13 for 156 yards. Their defence gave up 31 points to Ohio St. and 35 to SMU. In all other games, they have kept their opponent under 30. There defense is good. When Dobbs is 100% their team is good. Question is, will he play, and how effective will he be if he does.
Frank, any comment on the Oregon pasting of USC?
I would like to comment. One aspect of the Weis tenure that does bother me is the schematic advantage statement. He’s never had a schematic advantage. His Pro/Spread is pretty vanilla these days. Now they do execute well with great talent. At least at times. However, let’s talk about what a schematic advantage means against USC. Anyone care to guess what beats USC in the last three years? An inside outside running attack. Yep, go look at Oregon’s previous win, and the Oregon St. wins against USC. It was always the run game. Carrol’s achilles heel is a running game and a QB who can run. Remember Vince Young?
So why wouldn’t Weis have looked at that? Oh, and what about stiffening the defense up in the last 5 years? I think now the blueprint to beating Pete Carroll has finally established itself.
Where’s the coaching on the dumb-f _ _ K penalties! Who’s coaching the O line to do this. They miss blocks when they count (Rudolph screen) but are studs blocking after the runner’s been down for a year! Gutless! This isn’t an impressive performance. I don’t want to hear it!
That’s 2 blown TO’s! This will hurt us in a close game (e.g., USC). This has been a problem not only this season, but throughout the CW era. Inexcusable, people!
Another burned timeout!!! Let’s keep track.
JDH,
“Anus Eagle” is no longer worth my time. I’m more concerened about ND doing everything in its power to keep WSU in this game so far. Not impressed! not good!
I hear ya man. The penalties and the punting had me fuming on Saturday night. The personal fouls from the O-line were ridiculous. It got sloppy at times, but overall it was a dismantling of WSU.
I have to pose this question:
How is it that the University of Notre Dame cannot recruit and get a punter that can uh, punt? It is one of life’s great mysteries. Some of the other great mysteries are life after death, Bigfoot, why Harrison Smith plays, UFOs, how we are the only team to get extra points blocked, etc.
But I’ll right now stick to the punter question. Anyone?
predictions….First five offensive plays…..two wildcats with goodman/allen, two screens, end around to tate……Harrison Smith will be in coverage on the first WSU big pass play
So not much about the Washington State game. I can understand. I’d like to see an ND team roll up a 28 point lead. Then start playing the 2nd 3rd and whatever 4th stringers you have. But the first and second team better be crisp. Why am I talking about this? Because this game should be used to manage the season. Navy will be tough, but not a nail biter. Weis must work these guys up to the Pitt game. The players can’t look ahead, but if he’s doing his job, he must look ahead. This team must be sharp and resonably rested for Pitt. Managing these next three games as a set, while keeping the players focused one at a time will go a long way toward confidence that Weis is turning this thing around for good.
I think you got your wish, CDog. That was a pretty convincing win. Yes, they still make way too many mistakes. Way too many. But, wasn’t it nice, finally, to have a little breathing room at 40-7?
FInally. Again, this hardly means ND is back. WSU is a lousy team that is poorly coached. But, ND did a better job this week. They still haven’t played a complete game yet, but they’re showing some signs.
Some of you, I know, got after me after my BC comments last week (when I suggested that Weis was not doing as good as he needs to do to win at ND). I still think CW is a lot of money for not a lot of victories. But, tonight, we had our third string team out there. That is a fun thing to be able to do against anyone.
Enjoy it tonight, as Navy comes next week and they are better than Wa-Su.
Yes, the 3rd string was in there, and still no Evans. He didn’t get in at all did he?
Right on, Teo.
This win sets up now for the next two weeks. The defense now needs to make sure those cut blocks don’t get anyone injured next week. Otherwise, Navy is similar to Navada. Only bad thing is how do you then prepare for Pitt.
Overall I too am mixed on Weis as ND’s coach. He is good and competent, although, after the Oregon USC game, maybe not the one with a schematic advantage, ( more later ). But I did like how the team responded after he got after them in the 3rd.
Yes, the team responded when Weis leaned on them for being lazy. And, they were acting way too confident and making some dumb mistakes at that point.
On the whole, this was a good win. It was a blowout, something our program badly needed.
If we could land another high-end recruit (Seantrell, for example) I think things will be all right.
Pitt has a real back. We need some stellar run-defense and we need to continue to improve on offense (and, we need to keep JC away from the newspapers).
Your harmless lil football team blows, I’m hoping they make a BCS bowl so they can get blown out on a national stage (again) and have the program set back a few more years. You losers are better of beating up the likes of Hawaii in December like last year, that way you can pretend you have a real deal team.
I believe the word you were looking for was “OFF”, and yes, it is fun to beat teams like BC.
You are a very angry eagle.
Just admit you are Tyrone Willingham already.
you never know, ae could have been rich gunnell all along.
AE, ARE YOU OFF YOUR MEDS AGIAN?
Shouldn’t you be back in your trailer wrapped up in your BC snuggy with a box of kleenex watching the sound of music and crying over your classless pathetic team? I can’t wait until next year when we beat you by 50 and get your loser coach fired and watch all the fans in the stands cry.
I just read that two more players quit your team. They just quit right in the middle of the season. I guess some of your players(or at least former players) aren’t as stupid as they look. I’m sure if your head coach was to ask real nice, Charlie Weis would give him some pointers on how to manage his players.
Since your team isn’t going to a bowl game this year my I suggest you watch the Bridges of Madison County on new years day. For a spinless wusssey like you, we’ll even throw in some feminine hygene products. Loser.
“Your harmless lil football team blows.” Yet harmful enough to hand you a loss.
He’s back! I was wondering when he was going to pop up. First it was tons of smack talk about how BC would beat ND again etc. etc.
Now that he was proved wrong he can get back to namecalling and baseless accusations.
Where’s Steelfan?
JDH,
Did you happen to see CW screaming at his team mid-way through the third quarter?
We were just talking about this very thing last week.
So what happends? The defense comes on the field and records 3 streight sacks, the last one resulting in a fumble. Then Dane Crist comes on and throws a strike to John Goodman running a crossing pattern for a TD. That’s the passion and fire that I’ve been looking for. I hope they keep it up.
You’re a big meany!
Shazam-
I absolutely saw that and I loved it! It was right after we shanked yet another punt. I was very impressed with him doing that because you could see ND was starting to let up. Shades of Lou there when Charlie ripped them a new one. It worked!
Welcome Back Anus Eagle…didnt think I’d have to read your drivel again for another year
Reading the post from this pathetic sorry sad sack, I am left feeling as politically incorrect as Ben Stiller in “Tropic Thunder”
Angry Eagle – it’s been almost a week. Get over it. Remember, regardless of whatever else happens, you are a loser.
you morons should be proud…the worst BC football team in at least 10 years are your biggest W. And it took 5 turnovers for you to win by the hair on your chinny chin chin at home to get it no less. Whatta pathetic, overrated team, wake me up when it’s time for the New Year’s blowout, that is IF you guys get past lowly Stanford and so so Pitt (losers to the dregs of the ACC, NC State).
AE…There you go talking purdy agian.
Wake up tweety, you and your team are a bunch of no class losers.
Ding the fries are done! You wear a paper hat. Bending over and grabbing your ankles is an ILLEGAL formation dumbass. The reason your team turned it over 5 times is because of all the lube that they shared with each other before the game. I guess they didn’t share any with you, SORE LOSER. How about you Sing us a ACC fight song big bird.
I love this. We’re morons? Oh, you gotta love it. Listen Corky, maybe you are upset that, “Life Goes On”, was taken off the air some time ago, but don’t take it out on us. In fact Weis has a ranch for you in the South Bend area.
Sorry dude, but Pitt and Stanford aren’t lowly. In fact they’d beat almost any ACC team without too much problem. The ACC is the lowly one. Other than Navy Plus ( Ga Tech ), that whole conference hasn’t looked so impressive.
And regardless of that BC and it’s fans show little class.
Which means — Angry Eagle is a loser! You’ll be homeless soon. Walking the streets with Boone’s Farm in a bag.
Maybe we should give ole Anus Eagle a break…it’s down right dishaertening to be irrelevant. I mean, what does he have good in his life? Not his football team. Not his school. The women there crusty approximations of the real thing. The only thing this little weasel ever had to be proud of was a winning streak over ND. Now that’s gone too. Buck up Anus Eagle! Sure ND finally got rid of your irritaing little parasite of a team. But all’s not lost. Your school still has the sorority girls with the biggest weiners…
You all want a laugh? Look at the time that anus eagle replied. 1:21am. That big time loss that we stuck on BC is just eating this douche nozzle up. 1:30 in the morning and he can’t sleep over a loss that happened 2 weeks ago. ND’s great victory over the ND WANNABE’s is just another win for us, but for him, it’s the end of his little world. When he’s not ballin like a weiner girl, he’s trying to blow off steam here on our blog. Ha ha ha.
BC still have their little sledding hill and woman’s basketball team. I hear that their womans basketball team is supposed to be really good, so he has that going for him.
TIP*
Anus Eagle. Next time you find yourself so filled with anger over your pathetic teams’ loss to the superior athletes like the Fighting Irish of ND, just repete the following… goosfraba, goosfraba, serenity now!
Sorry fellas, if BC is irrelevant in the National Title hunt (and you won’t get too much of a fight from me there), then ND is right next to them, actually a little behind. The problem with you clowns is that you don’t know it. Stick to selling commercials, that’s all ND has been good for since the late 70s (excepting the Holtz sell your soul teams of the late 80s). That and peddling bottle openers, Christmas ornaments and paper weights with built-in catchy fight songs.
Eagle, have you been up all night crying over your teams loss to the ranked Irish?
Goosfraba bro, goosfraba. Just let it go. It’s alright to lose with class. There is no shame.
This is what happends when a loser of a BC alumni puts his third rate football program ahead of his wife and kids.
Look on the bright side… It’s almost time for womans basketball. You have that going for you! Serenity Now!
Floyd certainly gives us an added edge and opens the field for other guys.(just ask Rudolph) The one good things that came from his injury is we found a few good choices at the thid receiver spot.
I’ve learned my lesson in guessing on rankings. Only God knows about voters, polls, and computers. Some teams break into the top 25 or moves up without even playing, while other teams win big and go down. All I do know is if the Irish win out, they are a very attractive team for the bowl represenitives. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them in a BCS game.
JC’s chance to win the Heisman died when Kamara fell down on that last play against USC.
I’m looking forward to an easy win this weekend. Hopefully ND will make that happen. The key will be, as in most games against inferior competition, taking them out early.
No way ND is 15th in the country going into Pitt. Somehow I don’t think voters will be impressed by wins over WSU and Navy enough to jump us 10. A win over Pitt will probably put us around 15th (assuming we get by WSU and Navy).
Is there a definite date for Floyd’s return? It would be nice if he could get his feet wet a bit in the Navy game before going full throttle against Pitt. We really need Floyd. No one really gives ND credit for continuing to win without Floyd, one of the best if not the best WR in the country. I think if Floyd is on the field for the entire UM game and the USC game, ND is undefeated.
ND’s defense is improving and when combined with the fact that they (knock on wood) don’t turn the ball over, winning out is not out of the question, especially with Floyd on the field.
Funny how Nevada put up 70 on Idaho this weekend, yet couldn’t score against ND. Idaho must have some defense.
“JC’s chance to win the Heisman died when Kamara fell down on that last play against USC.”
I would have thought so too, but not so according to many Heisman pundits and polls. He has overtaken Tebow in some polls and Tate is in there now too. Granted, ND would have to win out and have the benefit of some more upsets in the top 10, but it’s not an impossibility.
There’s just alot of parity this year. I think USC will lose again and I think Florida will lose at SC.
I think ND has one of the better offences in the country. I really thought that they
would have scored at least 40 on somebody by now. This week’s game against
Washington State might be that game as long as our coaches and players understand
the circumstances of this game.
A good coach will put himself in the shoes of his adversary. Look at things from their perspective.
Wash.St is 1 win for the season. Their season has ended almost as soon as it started.
They won’t be going to a bowl game. They will be sitting at home for the holidays.
Washington State head Coach Paul Wulff and his team don’t have a lot to excited about this year.
Except for maybe one game. That would be this week’s game against ND. It’s at a neutral
site (The Alamodome) much like a bowl game. It’s against a nationally known team and it will be
televised live during prime time. Again, much like a bowl game. But in all reality it is a regular
Season game. Lets make sure we keep it that way and not let it turn into something more.
As long as ND understands this, and prepares accordingly, there should be no questions about
the outcome.
I was left scratching my head after I read where ND had practiced outside yesterday in the rain. Our next game is in the Alamodome. ND has a top notch indoor facility. I would think that a weeks worth of practice indoors on artificial turf would be a great advantage for us. If CW chooses to practice outside agian today I’ll be really confused. I guess maybe the vollyball team had first dibbs on the indoor facility.
It makes perfect sense to me. It’s that time of year, and the weather could end up being a factor for the rest of the season…it’s helpful if they get more practice in those conditions. It’s not like practicing in those conditions is going to hurt them going into the Alamodome.
according to reports, they did the media portion outside and then went into the loftus center.
more importantly, why is harrison smith an “or” with darius fleming at sam? i agree with putting him back with the linebackers, but he needs to sit and demonstrate he can do something on defense rather being a liability. when he is on the field, it is very clear/predictable what he is going to be doing. they always send him on a blitz from the edge. he then proceeds to try to jump over the blocker that is sitting there waiting for him because it is soooooooo predictable that when h smith is in at sam, he is blitzing. if tenuta can learn anything, use him as a decoy and send someone else. it would throw everybody for a loop.
Would knocking a ball out of a running back’s hands in the backfield in a crucial part of the game constitute “demonstrating he can do something”?
what “crucial” part of the game are you talking about? the only fumble harrison cause was in the first quarter right after jimmys’ safety. if you are talking about near the goaline, that ws caused by his replacement at free safety, sergio brown. go over to nbc and rewatch the game and keep an eye on him all game. he had a terrible game minus 2 or three plays. other than that, he does everything that i have stated in previous posts to a “t”. i also stated in another post that i was done bashing him and hope he can redeem himself soon.
How many times has ND played in a Dome stadium? When was the last time. I sure couldn’t tell you. I exspect that the crowd will be 80% Irish fans. Even at that, playing indoors has to take a little getting used to. The crowd noise, lighting, perception, the turf. They are all distractions. What the hell could it hurt to practice indoors for a few days?
If Im not mistaken, they played LSU, BCS bowl, in a dome stadium during Weis’s 2nd year coaching.
Playing in a dome isn’t that big of a deal. Not nearly as big as dealing with the elements. You don’t need to spend time preparing for playing indoors.
Drew,
I agree to some extent. It’s mainly our kick & punt returners who have to pick the ball out of the rafters.
Same with our recievers on the long throws. Hopefully, once they get there, they will have some time to adjust. I just hope we field our punts and kicks cleanly.
I was at the sugar bowl when we played LSU….indoors certainly helps the speedsters.
Redemption this week though…Golden Tate should be a blur.
btw, did anyone see Tate on Espn’s heisman watch list??
Hell yea
http://espn.go.com/college-football/heisman09/index
anyone else notice that Clausen only has 12 votes (not points).
So… who doesn’t have JC on their Top 5? I just want to know what 4 other people they’re picking over him. (I’ll allow them to vote for Kellen Moore).
of the Voters: Brian Bennett, Beano Cook, Rece Davis, Heather Dinich, Brad Edwards, Bruce Feldman, Pat Forde, Tim Griffin, Chris Low, Ivan Maisel, Todd McShay, Ted Miller, Adam Rittenberg, Mark Schlabach and Graham Watson.
I’ve got my money on Heather Dinich, Chris Low and Adam Rittenberg.
I’ve long believed that Dinich is functionally retarded, but I ‘m guessing the other two because they left ND out of their top 25. Oh And Chris Low has to vote for Tebow twice, once by voting for him once by not voting for someone better than him.
i think a win, (hopefully a convincing win), against navy will do more for our ranking than you people think. they are 6-2 (could be 7-2 when we play them) and played OH St and Pitt tough in their two losses. i think we all know what mark may will say about our chances against navy…smug little @#$##@$
and a loss will definitely eliminate jc from the heisman. he may still make the final 3-4, but there is no way a 9-3 irish squad will garner a heisman trophy, not happening
Aint no way the Irish jump 10 spots assuming they win against Wahington St and Navy both of whom we should beat. Aint happening.
Never say never. Anything can happen in college football. I just witnessed Boise State come of a 54-9 win on the road and drop 3 spots and get jumped by TCU.
This is ND. Finish 10-2 and the BCS will come calling with dollar signs in their eyes. Nobody is more marketable and draws a higher fan intrest than ND. Big time college football, the BCS, it’s all about the dollars.
You all should know this by now.
I think he meant No way ND is in the top 15 for the Pitt game.
Not sure if I agree with that, but I think that’s what he meant.
I’m sure that’s what he meant.
What I was getting at is how messed up the BCS is. How does a good Boise St. team win by a ton on the road and DROP 3 spots? On top of that, they then get JUMPED by TCU. How does anyone explain that? If that can happen, is it really that much of a reach to say that ND can’t be in the top 15 come the Pitt game?
Only the Amazing Kazam and his crystle ball might know for sure.
Pitt should be in the top 10 when we travel there. ND might be top 15 by then. This game will make or break our BCS chances.
And possibly JC’s Heisman chances.
I agree. ESPN has Clausen at number 2 with their voting. If we win out and he just stays on course with his stats I say he gets it. Thats means 30 TD’s 5 ints and around 3500 yards passing with a 10-2 record. That Pitt game is going to be HUGE. We get Floyd back vs Navy also.
