On the same day that Notre Dame and Under Armour unveiled the new regular season jerseys the Irish will be wearing as they face the nation’s toughest schedule in 2014, they also unveiled the first Under Armour attempt at the Shamrock Series uniforms as well.
Update: Our affiliate partner Fanatics has the new Notre Dame Shamrock Series Jerseys for sale. Shop for your new jersey now!
As you’ll notice, the Irish will be wearing blue pants along with a blue jersey in a look that somewhat resembles the St. Louis Rams when they face Purdue in the 2014 Shamrock Series at Lucs Oil Stadium on September 13. The biggest change from the norm is the helmet which will feature a blue interlocking ND. Previous Shamrock Series helmets featured a shamrock in 2011 and 2013 and the leprechaun in 2012 but this will be the first time the interlocking ND is on the Notre Dame helmet.
Here is the official rendering that the University released along with some other views of the uniform from those in attendance for the release on media day.

Ugly uni’s, period. Helmet, not so bad.
Their uniform is the LAST of my worries…should have made them wear throwbacks (from the attic not newly made) until they prove themselves…
I think they look awesome Frankie!

A belt? Yikes.
Really? No a drop of green? Disappointing.
