Notre Dame enters the 2020 off-season just slightly over the 85 scholarship limit which, as we’ve seen repeatedly in recent years, is right about where they should be without any worry about being over the limit come August. We’ll update this post as changes to the roster happen.

So I saw they are looking at taking another grad transfer at the RB spot, possibly. Not sure how this would help them in anyway unless he can play DB. Seems it would create a bigger log jam in the pecking order.
Thought I read incoming Frosh RB Tyree was guaranteed he’d be the only new incoming RB this season.
With a surplus of untested CBs, I’m hoping one or two of the six Frosh eligible (five of which are already on campus) will emerge as competent and game-ready.
Sam, there is no log jam if we go by “people who are ready to play and give our team the best chance to win” rather than by “people who have eligibility back”.
Then the long list gets a lot shorter.
