Notre Dame will face Georgia Tech for the 38th time in 2021. The last time the two schools played prior to 2021, Notre Dame blew out the Yellow Jackets 31-13 on Georgia Tech’s home turf.  The game was supposed to be played in Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta but was shifted to Bobby Dodd Stadium during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The game in 2021 is one of Notre Dame’s five ACC contractually obligated games for the season.  The game serves as Senior Day for Notre Dame and will also very likely be the final home game for Irish junior and Atlanta native Kyle Hamilton assuming the All-American declares for the 2022 NFL Draft as expected.  Check out our page on the history of the Notre Dame – Georgia Tech rivalry for a full background on the series.
