Notre Dame and Florida State will meet for the 11th time in 2021.  The Seminoles are one of the few programs in the country to own a winning record over the Fighting Irish.  Notre Dame is just 4-6 all-time against Florida State though they have won the last two contests are were undoubtedly robbed of a third straight win in 2014 by the home-cooking referees that fateful Saturday in Tallahassee.  In both 2018 and 2020, Notre Dame put up 42 points on Florida State inside of Notre Dame Stadium over a pair of overmatched Seminole squads.  The Irish and Noles square off in a rare Sunday night showdown over Labor Day weekend with Mike Norvell entering his second season as head coach for Florida State.
