Notre Dame added another member to its recruiting class of 2015 on Tuesday when wide receiver CJ Sanders committed to the Fighting Irish giving Notre Dame eight verbal commitments overall and two at the wide receiver position.
Sanders announced his commitment to Notre Dame via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon:

Sanders selected Notre Dame with offers in hand from the likes of Tennessee, USC, Stanford, Ole Miss, Georgia, and others while also drawing the interest of Ohio State and Florida. ESPN, 247 Sports, and Rivals all rate Notre Dame’s latest member of the #ShamrockSoldiers15 as a four star recruit while Scout rates Sanders as a three star prospect.
At 5’10” and 170 lbs with 4.45 speed, Sanders projects as a slot wide receiver for Notre Dame who just recently offered the speedy wide receiver in March. Sanders didn’t sit on his offer from Notre Dame for too long committing after a visit to South Bend this past weekend.
As a junior at Brentwood Academy, the home of one time Notre Dame offensive lineman Alex Bullard, Sanders hauled in 52 passes for 738 yards with 12 total touchdowns. Sanders will not play for Brentwood as a senior, however, as he will be moving to California and transferring to Notre Dame Sherman Oaks – the alma mater of former Domers Dayne Crist and Anthony McDonald – this fall.
Sanders joins a growing list of members of the Fighting Irish roster whose fathers were also accomplished professional athletes. His father, Chris Sanders, spent seven seasons in the NFL after an accomplished career at Ohio State.

So, maybe 6’2″ WRs like Justin Brent and Corey Holmes aren’t “big” enough for you? And perhaps 6’4″ 200lbs Corey Robinson is also too little as well? Let’s not forget that he also recruited Chris Brown and Daniels who are both around 6’2″
In fact, BK has only ever recruited two WRs under 6’0″ Davonte Neal and CJ Sanders.

Interesting, in 2015 Denbrock will be coaching the sons of Phil Daniels,
Torii Hunter, David “The Admiral” Robinson and now Sanders, whose Dad went to Ohio State.
But there’s one other dynamic to watch. This staff has been very astute about identifying wide receiver talent.
