Notre Dame wide receiver commitment Cam Williams went absolutely OFF in week one of his senior season. The Glenbard South High standout hauled in 7 catches for 153 yards with 3 receiving touchdowns. He added another two touchdowns on kick returns. That’s five touchdowns in just nine touchdowns. That’s absolutely bonkers.
Williams’s strong start to the 2023 season comes on the heels of a junior campaign that saw him reel in 47 catches for 1,022 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.
Williams has seen is recruiting profile rise over the last 15 months since committing to Notre Dame in late June of 2022. At the time, he was outside of the top-100 but now ranks #36 overall in the country on the 247 Composite putting him just outside of 5-star status. More games like his week one outburst and Williams should continue to see his rankings rise between now and the end of the season.
