Notre Dame completed day two of fall camp 2013 at Shiloh Park on Tuesday – a day of practice and team building. Videos from today feature some drills, team building events, comments from Zack Martin, and an interview with Brian Kelly.
Brian Kelly’s Day 2 Comments
- Brian Kelly said that the staff is looking for consistency on day 2 – who brings the same level of energy from day one to day two. He and the staff were pleased with the way the team practiced.
- No one has started to emerge yet which isn’t surprising since they aren’t in pads yet. Kelly did mention the right guard and right tackle positions and Ronnie Stanley specifically.
- At running back, Kelly talked again today about getting the young backs reps in practice.
- Kelly stressed that the point of these first few days at camp is really about the team bonding before they return to campus for the rest of camp.
Notre Dame looked good in that 1st practice. Strong.
for the first time in nearly 20 years, i feel like we have a coach who is building a program as opposed to just managing a team.
I really like this approach. I think it will pay-off for the team.
Kelly knows what he is doing!
Cheers,
Woodrow
