Notre Dame was back on the practice field on Tuesday as they scrimmaged during the morning session of practice. Video highlights with some notes as always today.
- Tommy Rees had some nice zip on his passes today. No, he’s not going to suddenly be able to bomb it out 60+ yards, but his intermediate passes have some more velocity to them.
- Interestingly enough, Andrex Hendrix wasn’t wearing a red quarterback jersey during the scrimmage – Rees was.
- Brian Kelly was working one on one with the running backs some today.
- Amir Carlisle had a nice run out of the backfield.
- Ishaq Williams looked good against the run making a stuff in the backfield at one point.
- Greg Bryant had a nice run to the outside where he found the corner and picked up a nice gain.
- James Onwaulu had a nice catch on the side against Keivarae Russell on a pretty nice throw from Rees.
They look and more importantly act like Champions. The intensity is there especially so early in pre season training camp. ND will defeat Michigan.
