Notre Dame fought valiantly last night in Palo Alto, but never could overcome an early hole before finally falling 27-20 to Stanford. The Irish had their chances, but failed to capitalize on several 4th quarter opportunities to tie the game. Here are the highlights from Notre Dame’s regular season finale as the Irish finish the year 8-4 heading into the bowl.
