WatchND brings us some more great footage from Spring football 2015 focusing on the linebackers, defensive line, and safeties from the 11th practice of the year. Here are a few notes along with the video.
- Joe Schmidt got to have his first football action of the spring by hitting the pads for the first time as he comes back from his broken leg.
- Jerry Tillery was singled out again in the video. New defensive line coach Keith Gilmore apparently had Tillery redo a drill in practice not because he didn’t do it right the first time, but because he did it so well, he wanted to see it again. We talked last week about the hype building for Jerry Tillery and it doesn’t sound like it will be dying down anytime soon.
- Elijah Shumate and Max Redfield got called out again for being night and day from last year. Earlier this week we talked about the light coming on for Redfield and it sounds like it is doing so for Shumate as well.
