After a bit of slow start, Notre Dame ended up blowing out Umass on Saturday afternoon in the first ever meeting of the two schools powered by a running a game that racked up over 450 yards on the ground. By the end of the day, Notre Dame scored the most points of the Brian Kelly era while also gaining the most total yards and rushing yards of Kelly’s tenure as well.
