Notre Dame blew out the Pitt Panthers for the first time in 15 years – Charlie Weis’s first game as head coach at Notre Dame – on Saturday afternoon. The Irish made life miserable on Pitt backup Joey Yellen while Ian Book and the Irish passing game got back on track with 300+ yards in the air. The Irish improved to 5-0 on the season (4-0 in league play).
